Srushti Dehmukh started preparing for UPSC when she was in her final stage of her engineer diploma. After graduation, she began to question whether she could be satisfied in an engineer position. Then, she realised civil service was what she loved and devoted herself to it. Parents insisted that she study for civil service and to make it a profession serving the public. She did not lose motivation as she remained focused in her pursuit of becoming an IAS. Achieving UPSC is a lot of work. She would prepare for UPSC topics while studying her engineering. The time she allocated for test preparation daily. She completed her engineering exams in just one and a half months and stayed away from social activities. The focus she believes is vital to pass the examination to get a government job, and to be eligible for a job in civil service. She was extremely focused on passing this test and made a great amount of work. Every day, she was reading the paper to stay on top of the latest news. She also got a lot of help online collecting different study materials and taking in Rajya Sabha TV. The book is excellent especially for IAS students who are preparing rigorously to take the IAS exam.
